Baron Blakeslee DP-5
This is a large integrated vapor degreasing system manufactured by Baron Blakeslee which includes a Baron Blakeslee MRR-10 solvent recovery still, a 5-ton chiller for primary refrigeration, a low temperature refrigeration vapor trap for the secondary coil, an overhead hoist (if desired), a work platform, and a motorized power cover lid system. These vapor degreasing systems are designed to clean large parts in a vapor condensation spray process and has a 75-gallon spray reservoir for high through-put spray capability. The secondary coil, roll-top, hoist, and safety controls make this system a good choice when NESHAP compliance is necessary.
Primary Refrigeration
Included in the purchase price is a glycol chiller refrigerated by an 8-ton R-22 compressor for the refrigeration of the primary coil.
Secondary Refrigeration
This system also features a low-temperature refrigerated secondary coil for capturing fugitive emissions. The secondary coil is refrigerated by a Copeland 3/4 hp semi-hermatic R404a refrigeration system.
Spray System
This vapor degreaser utilizes a spray wand system for enhanced cleaning. The system has a 75-gallon spray reserve reservoir for added spray capacity.
Lid System
A motorized roll top lid system minimizes the space required for a slide lid system (reducing the overall footprint of the unit) and eliminates the emission problems of a lift and drop type lid system.
MRR-10 Solvent Recovery Still
To facilitate economy in solvent use and continuity of operation this system also includes the OEM matched 10-gallon per hour refrigerated distillation unit.
Work Platform
A specially designed work platform is also included.
Electronic Controls
This unit features modern electronic thermostatic and safety controls.
